What happens if you inject a oil based steroid into a vien? DEATH?

I just wanted to know if you inject a oil based steroid into you vien by mistake can you die? what should you do if this were to happen? I injected and pulled back on the syringe and a little blood can into the plunger, but i re injected and everything was fine? but just wanted to know b/c i was a little worried.

Well I guess it would depend how much you put in there. Reactions can vary but I think you would be fine, its happened you could get sick or dizzy. But always aspirate.....

I suppose it depends on your health. If you're prone to heart problems you might be at risk. Otherwise 1 or 2cc's are not likely to cause anything other than a fast heart beat, like mentioned above. The gear will be wasted though, as far as I understand.

is the gear really wasted? I don't understand the logic behind that although I have heard it before myself. I mean IM injections are done there instead of sub-q because the muscle has better blood flow.

i don't think the gear would be totally wasted, but a smaller amount of it would be used because it would be cleansed from your blood too quickly to be effective.

you will not die (test) but it would go into your lungs and have problems breathing for a couple of weeks.
