What does it mean to be 'from concentrate'?

With products such as orange juice, what does it mean when it is NOT from concentrate, and from concentrate?

I assume you're talking about juices. In that case it means that the juice doesn't come straight from the sqeezed fruit but the original juice has been cooked down and "concentrated" then mixed with water and sometimes sugar for the desired taste.

"Concentrating" the fruit is a process that removes water, then during production of the product, water is added along with sugars & other nutrients, depending on the product...

not from concentrate = yummy
from concentrate = yucky

concentrate was introduced so people could drink orange juice out of season. before it, orange juice was only available for a few months out of the year or something. nowadays, you can buy oranges from other countries and shit, so concentrate is just ghetto.

its just like how fountain drinks mix water + carbonated water + soft drink syrup (tons of sugar) to make pop...essentially its very very little real/natural juice and its highly concentrated with refined sugar...Nasty shit, its good to profit from cuz you require less supply and this shit can store for so long just cuz its so sugary that bacteria can't grow in it lol
