What Do You Recommend...

Which supplements do you guys recommend I use... I mean, I don't wanna use steroids or anything that'll harm me in the long run. But I hear L-Glutamine is good for cutting... so that's out because I'm bulking now.

Creatine I hear is good but if you don't keep consistent with it you lose alot of the gains you made.

Fish Oil... but that's bulking too. Same as flax, I believe? I'm not really sure...

Just throw stuff at me, I'm reachin' into the dark here.

Good to see you're starting to take things seriously.

Flax oil is a godsend, and that's about all I take other than ALA with a post-workout dextrose/whey/creatine shake.

Since you're so young, and mentioned on the training board that expensive meals like steak are out of the question for you, I suggest you spend your money on food rather than supplements. Supplements can get real expensive, real fast, and unless you have specific concerns, like my achy joints, as a youngun' it's better to focus your money elsewhere.

I'm sure there will be dissent about this.

Flax oil is worth it though, imo.

L-glutamine is not for cutting! It's an essential Amino Acid that you should take no matter what your doing!

Take creatine, cycle it..yes you'll lose al ot after taking it, but take it and you'll get good gains.

EFA's are a must too (flax, fish, olive oil...)

Whey protein after workout and a blend during the day. Try some NAC after training...good nutrition plan and train 1 body part per week...only abs more than once a week.

How do I cycle creatine exactly? Tell me what to do. Also, why is Glutamine essential? And Flax Oil... what makes it so good?

Also, what BRANDS of each should I buy, or do you recommend? Links please...

Here is my list in no particular order:

1. Multi vitamin with extra antioxidants
2. Milk protein isolate powder, cheaper than milk and no carbs but maintains all of the vitamins and minerals.
3. Flax oil/Fish oil
4. A during and post workout drink with whey and dextrose/maltodextrin. I also add glutamine and extra BCAA's.
5. Possibly creatine.

Also, eat a healthy diet which includes fruits and vegetables. Avoid processed foods and those containing hydrogenated fats. Keep a food and training log to track your progress.

get glutamine petides, supposably they are more readily obsorbed then l-glutamine. or take l-glutamine on an empty stomach.
cycle creatine-6-8 weeks on, with a week load phase, during that load phase period take 10-15grams per day in 2-3 divided doeses. preferably with some juice. after that take 5-10 grams perday.
flax oil is good, its got essential fatty acids in it.
thats all!

Quoth the bishonen, "search."

Creatine is pretty much all the same, as is flax oil if it's processed and stored right. I dig Barleans High-Lignan Flax Oil.

http://dpsnutrition.com has great prices on supplements, and you're better buying flax locally, since it's probably been better refrigerated than if it's shipped through UPS.. ( coming from a UPS employee, take my word on this one. :) )

Seriously though..
