there is a fine line in what we consider acceptable guidlines for posting someone as a scammer. but lately i've noticed a disturbing trend. all though this is nothing new, it has been getting worse and worse these past few months and i believe it to be something in ALL of our best interest to address and resolve.

lately i've notice more and more people sending a source some money for one thing and the source sending something else. an example would be, say i order some DL var and the source sends me something is not. when i ask him what this is, the source tells me that it's what i ordered.later i do some research and find out that it is in fact not what i ordered. so i contact the source again. once again the source is saying that it IS what i've ordered.

now say i get pissed off and send him positive proof this this IS NOT what i've ordered and it is most likely fake. only AFTER i prove to this source that i know exactly what i'm talking about does he finally admit that he lied to me and STILL try to pass it off as good shit. is he a scammer? is he not a scammer because i caught him and he owens up to it? would he own up to it if i never figured it out? ? HELL NO HE WOULDN'T!

i think sending someone fake gear or trying to pass gear off for something it is not, is not only a cheat but can lead to huge health issues.

another example is say a woman new to bodybuilding orders some primo's and is sent some test. can you see what i'm getting at?

it always has been and always will be our responsiblity to set our goals, choose the best gear to meet those goals, and to follow up on that gear to make sure it is legit.

but for the sources that try to pull a fast one and only do the right thing after they get caught, what do we do? we can't exactly post them as a scammer, but i believe everybody should know that this source will try to cheat you if you don't know exactly what you are doing.

this happened to me a few months ago. i ordered a specific kind of gh and was sent something else. the source repetedly lied. the source kept telling me that they contacted the company personaly and verified that the product was legit. only after i funished the name and number of the product control person with that company and funished proof that this shit was not what i ordered, did the person say, opps, my bad. is this person a scammer? keep in mind that i was lied to over and over. the source knew damn well and good it was not what i ordered.

i've been around long enough to know what i'm doing. and even after i knew i was scammed, i almost let myself get talked out of it. i stuck to my guns, made some posts and the issue was resolved by a third party.

but the question remains, what do we do with ppl like this? if i was still new to this whole thing, i would have been taken. hell i almost was. . . .

we need to think about how we handle ppl like this. in my book they are no better than scammers and i think we should post them accordingly.

FACTS:
1. we onder one thing they send us something else.

2. we prove it's not what we ordered and they lie again and say it is what we ordered.

3. we go to a mod and they approve a scammer post.

4. only upon the news of a mod apporoving a scammer post will the source correct the dishonesty.

post them as a scammer? i know honest mistakes can and do happen on occation. but honest mistakes are always taken care of very quickly by legit sources with a lot of apologies and usually a small refund and/or extra gear.

should we post them as a scammer since they intended to scam us. or is it okay for a source to try to scam us if they fix the problem once they've been caught?

right now it seems the rules say that it is okay for source to try to scam us as long as they fix the problem if we catch them.

in my book it is the intent that matters. what do you think?

That was well thought out and nicely written.
When a source tries to pull the wool over your eyes it is akin to being a scammer. Maybe they are not ripping you off completely but they are doing something to obfuscate (how about that post-graduate word) the situation. As you said it is a matter of intent. And they were not acting in good faith therefore they are a type of scammer.

I agree that he is a scammer. Many people say the sources are doing this for us, they like to help fellow gear heads out. bs they are in it for the money and if there scamming people to its bs.

well i agree with you guys. i was hoping that i would see some post with ppl defending sources who conduct business like this. to read them might give me some insight as to what is going through their heads.

i know of a few guys that were almost cheated and after many many months of trying to get the source to send them what they actually ordered, post the source as a good guy who took care of them. . . . .

i guess i'll never understand.
