bad business decision in my opinion.
Here's the deal.
Lots of redirect this site from google, lots of everything.
That can all be recreated, its the members that drive the board. If the marketing is duplicated then they lose business.
In fact, they are running a weakened version of vbulletin.
The databases they have are great but the shit is old news scientifically.
The problem with making plats=nonplats to give more power to Chairman who pay means they are building their foundation on shaky ground.
Why be a COB?? To be superior to Plats and NONPlats, duh!!
Who posts more, plats and nonplats!!! So, who logically will it piss off, plats!! Not nonplats b/c they never paid so they never cared, right??
So if you are PLAT and alot of Chairman members make you ESSENTIALLY a nonplat, then whats the freaking point????? AFTERALL, we only became plat to help the site out to keep it running, most of us at least b/c we used it so often we felt morally obligated to help out with the plat.
