what do the different karma colors mean?

ok.. i have seen green, red and grey... what does each mean?? sorry if this question has been asked before, but i have been a little mia and need color definitions lol thanks

Grey = neutral
Red = Bad

but how do you get neutral??? because when i hit the karma button, it only says approve or disapprove..

flashing blue stars mean that the person has a platinum membership.
