What causes more sweat while sleeping than awake?

Everyone knows about fina and DNP causing night sweats, but does anyone know why you don't sweat that much when your metabolism is more active during your waking hours? Seriously, if you're asleep then your heartrate is lowered, metabolism slows, and you're not exerting yourself. So why is it that when I'm on either of these two compounds I find myself soaking the sheets even though I'm dry walking around all day?

Is it just the fact that the bedding accumulates/retains the moisture more than our clothes without giving it a chance to evaporate? Wouldn't that suggest that we sweat the same amount around the clock but that the night sweats are more obvious?

Any ideas?

Maybe not, but it is the truth. Other than that the only thing I am aware of is the body's metabolism slows at night as well as other functions. The thermo-regulatory system may not be as efficient as during awake times. Also, perception (sensory) is inhibited during sleep therefore, you may not consciously realize you are too warm so you body has to compensate by perspiring trying to cool itself when the sweat evaporates.

all I know is when I was on cytomel I had to keep a towel beside my bed to wipe myself off when I woke up during the night. I'm never using that shit again, not only did I sweat like a pig but it burned up all of my muscle mass too (even while taking sustanon with it)

well

i think all u guys are either too cheap to get air conditioning or u should reduce the amount of sheets ontop of you while u sleep. installation of a fan would be idea for this type of situation! hope this helps.
