what bit torrent is everyone using now?

Can anyone tell me what "bit torrent" is so I might be able to answer the question?

Make sure you're downloading from here: http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/azureus/Azureus_2.3.0.4_Win32.setup.exe?download
And if it still doesn't work, make sure you have the latest Java software installed.

bump, and for porn use empornium.us, they've opened up registration again until they hit 500,000 members.
Has anyone else gone through all the crap you need to in order to get a good speed on torrent downloads? I just dl'd Azureus and it's running but slow.....and they say to get a "green smilie" you need to be able to host/share torrents. However configuring your pc to do this sounds.....well, take a look-

I got an account at DynDNS but setting up ports and everything else to host/share on is pretty hairy sounding. If anyone has done this using Win XP service pack 1 w/ a Firefox browser, what configuration (for dynamic IP) works best?

Download this and extract it to C:\Program
Files\Azureus\plugins\safepeer
You might have to create the safepeer directory.

that is safepeer. great program and once it's installed you dont have to worry about it anymore. keeps those feds from tracking your DL's so they can't sue you and also filters out bad IPs so you dont DL junk.

use bit comet, it's very easy.

ive found that seedler.com is the best for finding good working torrents without much fuss
