What are your thoughts on welfare???

I see it abused BADLY everyday at work. I think the average person doesn't know just how bad it is.

Just wondering what everyone thought?

Yeah, it's too easy to abuse. One friend of mine (who was unemployed & drawing unemployment at the time) was dating a stripper who had a kid, and she was on welfare. She was talking to him one night, and was telling him pretty much how easy it is to get. So, he applied, and got it.

If there weren't so many lazy peices of shit, welfare would be a good thing. Some people just fall in holes, and get dealt shitty hands sometimes. If they need a hand, I don't mind helping at all. I do however mind paying for lazy pigs that have 14 kids for the sole purpose of recieving more money

what kind of welfare. The way i see it there are different types

student welfare - $60 billion
corporate welfare - $150 billion
ADFC welfare - $44 billion
medicaid/medicare - $400 billion
Social security - $400 billion


Its not like welfare begins & ends with food stamps. That is a minor part.

Any time you hand out free money someone is going to abuse it. Personally I would rather pay for lazy pieces of shit to have food than buy bombs for Israel and other countires. Oh well, I'm only a voter and don't have any say in what my government does.
