Anyone read it? It good?

What are you orbs reading?

I've been trying to finish "The Satanic Witch" by Anton LaVey and "Blood and Gold" by Anne Rice for a while now, I had a short novel class this semester, so my books went on stand by while I read books for that class. Lots of cool books in that class. We read The Metamorphisis, Heart of Darkness, One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich, Ethan Frome, The House on Mango Street, No One Writes to the Colonel, The Awakening and a bunch of other ones. Anyways, time to get back to mine.

A new version of The Art of War by Stehpen Kauphman. Digging it.
Re-Reading the Dreams Collection by Stephen Donaldson.
The second Jewish Book of Why.

Thats it for now.

This thread made me realize I haven't read a book since junior year of high school...going on three years now.

I'm getting dumber by the minute.

leigh steinberg: Winning with Integrity. "Getting What You're Worth Without Selling Your Soul".

F'n amazing book. Very inspirational and extremely well-written. A must read for anyone who interfacts with humans in life.

Just finished "the Da Vinci Code" Pretty well written, I liked it a lot.
About to start "the Map that Changed the World" Geo nerd book.
Will probably buy some more as I am running low on books now. I usually read between one and three a week. Took a couple weeks off from reading and need to get back after it.

Cheers,
Scotsman

I've talked to some who read this book not realizing that it was fiction.

I can see how someone would get that impression. It has a page that list some of the stuff as facts. With all the hype it's funny that they would still think that. Still a fast and good read. I'm only 1\4 of the way into it.

the story of "o" --- a bdsm book

Interesting book. I read that last year...I think I had a hard-on the entire time. As a novel I think it basically sucked, but the domination parts were at least interesting.

Right now I'm reading "The Winter of Our Discontent" - John Steinbeck

just finished reading a play adapted from the novel "Lolita" about a 38 year old pedophile

Just finished John Sandford's Hidden Prey, the latest in the Prey series, and not nearly as good as the rest. Now I'm reading Michael Connely's The Narrows, the latest in his Harry Bosch detective series......I get hooked on a charachter.....and that's all she wrote.....plus I don't sleep so good, so a lot of reading get's done between 12-3 a.m. :)

A real good book by a relatively unknow is, No Second Chance, by Harlan Coben........good shit man.
