What Are The Top Five Carb's

I kinda have a hunch but id like you guys opinion:) minus friut im talking about the ones that fill muscle glycogen first(spelling?)

I hardly think refilling muscle glycogen is the only consideration for the "top 5 carbs". If you want to consider a carb to be ideal then you should also be thinking of the other factors like fiber, GI, is it a whole food, etc... Dextrose/Maltodextrin is the king of muscle glycogen filling but you can't build a diet based on these carbs alone. They are great for boosting insulin and refilling muscle glycogen, but they are meant for post-workout meals and not much else.

True ideal carb sources are things like; oatmeal, sweet potatoes, lentils, whole or long grain rice, etc.. Of course vegetables and fruits are up there too.

Well, throughout the day I'll eat the usual (oatmeal, beans, rice, etc.) but if it's post workout carbs you're asking, then I try to eat anything with sugar in it. My favorite is yogurt cause it also has some protein. Fruit is great, but you said not to mention that....
