Also, in restoration of the adrenal gland function one should include potassium rich foods and avoid foods high in sodium. This will help to keep the sodium/potassium balance in the body. This goal is a potassium:sodium ratio greater than 5 to 1.
Supplementation should include a multi vitamin with extra B6, B12, and Pantothenic Acid (promotes energy). Also, Vitamin C for stress, Vitamin E for increased celluar oxyegen availability and a good anti oxidant such as Proanthocyanidins (grape seed extract) to hep futher reduce the effects of stress.
