What age do u start going down hill????

Whats up,

What age do u think u basically start going down hill??

I know everybody is different but i was just wondering like at what age basically do u start gaining less muscle then u did.

And what age u think ur at ur strongest???
 
When your bloodwork starts showing your test has dropped and your natural GH has too. I felt it around 27ish (I had a vasectomy that murdered me). Well with those two augmented at 31 now I am far stronger and tougher than I was at 21. I think most power lifters are around the 40ish mark I believe.
 
Well I'am 37 and my workout partner is 31 and we both find it easier to put on muscle (density).
But it takes longer to recover from our workouts.
You can defently got stronger into your 40's.
Have been the game since the early 80' and yes my joints are screwed.
I could be the Poster Boy for Advil!!!
 
The average male will begin to produce less test and GH at around 24-26, however, your neuromuscular responses become more hard programmed because of your slowdown in growth (your mind catches up to your body). This has a good and a bad side - you can do more faster with the same amount of muscle but w/o the test and GH your recovery is much slower.

With the lowered test and GH levels you also start to wear out your joints, etc.

Eat right, supplement right, exercise right, reduce stress and find a balance and you can greatly reduce the effects of ageing.

Shit, just do lots of roids, GH and get plastic surgery.

You start going downhill when you feel the need to take mid-day naps. Also, not be able to get your dick immediately hard at the sight of a hot woman might also be an indicator.....an indicator to get some Viagra!
 
agree totally with anvils assesment ....im in my 40's and get bigger every cycle ....but the down side i feel beat to shit (my joints).....im not as strong as when i was mid 30's but i am much leaner today

been pumping consistantly since 80's ....juicing late 80's -90's .... and still love it ......2-4 cycles per year

Thanx for the reply guys..

No i was just wondering since im now 26 and getting a little worried thinking im not growing as much as a few years back, probably just all in my head.

Ive heard a couple of times before that bodybuilders peak at around their late 30's. Maybe im wrong?
 
I'm 44. Had my birthday about 2 months ago. I set lifetime PRs on every lift the week of my birthday.

My deadlift PR just went up another 10lbs this morning.
 
Everyone is def different when it comes to age. I know a guy in the gym that is 68 and looks better than most 30 yr olds. Im 51 and Im told I look great and Im gettin better all the time. Been training since I was 22 in the gym everyday.
 
I just spotted a friend that military pressed 120# dbs on his 60th birthday. I just stood back and watched him hit 2 good reps.
