Darling,

Although I could hardly see the style from your tiny, tiny picture, I am a big fan of long shorts (is that grammatically correct?). Just wear your sneakers without socks and you will look adorable. Or flip-flops, that Uncle Freddie is sure that he does not have to advise you against socks here.

Happy tanning!

thanks for the input guys, and sorry for the small picture

these are more like capri's for men than long shorts, hopefully they suit me because ive got a pair on order

Find an Oakley outlet store and check out their shorts, some pretty cool stuff. I just don't see a guy looking good in capris.....................

Saw a guy wearing a pair on the weekend in the club. Looked gay as all hell. I couldn't stop laughing at the guy.

i'd prefer them tighter fitting if they had to be that long.

im sure they will fit tighter on me than those chicken legged models,Im 5'6 with 25inch legs so Im not to worried

correct me if I am wrong, but those are capri pants for men, no? a lot of dudes were wearing them around here a few years ago and I personally think they are terrible. but once again, it's all about what you think.

Capris are great if you want to make a powerful statement regarding your homosexuality.

Different isn't necessarily gay.

Capris, however, are full-blown gay.

You asked "what about these?" So I'm telling you. Capris are as gay as pastel spandex. So, quit seeking validation and getting upset that you aren't hearing what you want to hear.

I really do apprciate the fact that you too are tired of reading it's "Gay".
When will it stop...I suspect never.

Ok....I'm glad to hear you dont have 26 inch inseams....lol..... that would make you extremely short.

I totally agree, and I have nothing against people who are gay. But capris on men, in my opinion, isn't a whole lot different than if you asked what we thought of you wearing a dress. Just my opinion, and you asked us. But hey, if they do it for ya, then go with them!:)

You don't get it. Of course clothes themselves don't turn you gay. Wearing a dress doesn't make you woman.

However, there are clothes that are predisposed to gay fashion. In other words, they make you look gay. Whether or not you think that's a bad thing or not is your call, but I prefer to have a more masculine look. Capris are anything but masculine. Look at what you even said yourself:

these are more like capri's for men

What other fucking articles of clothing do you need to add a "for men" qualifier to? That should raise a red flag right there.

For god's sakes, wear shorts. Not only do capris look ridiculous and feminine, but they only will make you look SHORTER. That's something that you want, at 5 foot 6? Jesus, they're going to look like fucking high-waters.

Let me throw this out there. From what I read from the above statements. Everyone believes that clothes can make a person "appear" Gay. Well if that be the case. Then what your say is if a Gay man should happen to wear a football jersey would that make him apperar to be "straight"? Because a jersery is assumed to be masculine? That is a crock full of crap. Fashion is fasion. It's closed mind thinking that keeps it (fashion) from the straight men in this world. Seems like you all are stuck in this state of mind that it has to never change. It has to be pants or regular shorts before a man can be thought of as a "man".
Long time ago men wore nothing but short knee pants. Nylon socks, with a shoe that had a low heel. Ruffled shirts, velvet coats, and wigs. They were very masucline fashion during that time. I will give you an excellent example
Napolien Bonapart, ruler of most of Europe.
If today's men can let go of this fear they have, then people views will begin to change about fashion. Most of all of today's designers are Gay. Does that mean that all of your "men" that wear their clothes are Gay?
Eourpean counrties have always been in the lead when it comes to fashion. Yet here in the United States the most powerfull country of all, is still kept back a few steps because the men here are afraid of what people may think about their sexuality.....Sad !

You can argue it all you want. It doesn't change the fact that capris on a guy make him look gay. Its just how it looks. Doesn't mean that person is bad, etc., but like I said, what would you think if you saw a guy in a dress? Oh, he's straight, he just likes the feel of a dress..........
Don't be mad at us, be mad at society. Thats the way they look at capris on men. Or do you think its just the elite forum members who think that??

And with regards to jacked guys wearing capris and picking up hot babes.........trust me, picking up babes is not abut what you wear, its about personality.

what i meant playa was that i seen some guys pull it off without looking like a homo...personally im way to badass to ever wear capris..but i have seen it done in a non-geigh way.

Oak - I think they look good - While in italy there wasnt a single person NOT wearing them - Over there its three options, too long jean/pants too short bathing suits or these shorts.

ill get some pics up soon,Im just working so much I havent had time to do much of anything, hopefully this weekend

Well....IMO Europeans don't exactly have the best fashion sense. I have been living in Germany the last two years and have had the opportunity to do some traveling and some of these fashions are kindly sad. I am not going to say that these men here are gay because of what they wear but some of it is just ugly. I have to say that I personally think Italian men have the worst fashion sense of all even though they are made out to seem like they are the best dressed in the world. Every culture is different though, after all the average age for a male to move out of his parents house in Italy is like twenty-six, compared to the U.S. where everyone can't wait until they are eighteen so they can leave. Paris is supposed to be the fashion capital of the world, yet most of the stores I visited sold mainly graphic tee's and low rider jeans. That is a lot of what Americans wear as well. I have to give some of those French girls a lot of respect, they wear some REALLY low jeans with some REALLY tiny g-strings. If only that would catch on a little more in America, all guys would have a little more to look foward to every day.
