Just go do it in person. I heard with online they call you up and ask you questions sometimes.

I always go in person, cash only. I switch WU's locations whenever possible. No ID. as long as the amount isn't over 1k.
I've never tried WU online, but if you have to transfer or draw money from a personal account (check, savings, cc or dc) to pay WU, i'd say that is a "no no". cash is the way to go!!.
If you think doing it personally is a hassle you may try e-gold.

pay with cash in person at WU. Under $1k, no ID checked. You can put whatever info on the form you want. Once you pay them, if there is an issue and they can't find you . . . so what? That's the chance you take!

Yes they do call and ask stuff, or they make you call them and confirm. I used online once, but it wasnt for buying gear or anything.

The way to go is definitely an in-person transaction with cash only and no I.D. as was mentioned above. As far as E-Gold is concerned they can and will cease your funds in your account without prior warning or reason use your own discretion as far as that is concerned . Keep in mind that your risk as the sender of money is minimal in comparison to that of the receiver there shouldn’t be any problems with sending money via WU in person.

In person is the best way. I tried making an order online once and got a call from a customer service operator. She said the transaction was denied b/c they of suspicious activity and that my bank (I used a Visa debit/credit card) was being notified. That freaked me out. Since then I stick with sending cash at one of the dozen or so local grocerie stores with WU service.

paying with credit/debit card online to buy 'supplements' seems like a seriously stupid thing to do.
