No ID required...just go in tell them where the cash is going and thats it...they will ask you for personal info....but no ID.

I was asked for ID twice, both times the transaction was to China. The employee told me that ID is only asked for on transfers over 1000, except to china, which is on all transactions. Whether or not that's true in all areas is another thing, but be weary of it.

fyi---w/u keeps a diff. databases regarding cc and possible online fraud...thats
why sometimes a recievers name will get flagged under suspcious activity.


the "in person"/cash visit would not get flagged under this condition.

wu creates their own policies per agent.. if the agent has been hit alot with fraud they'll id you and no allow passwd pays.. they'll id you if you send anything under a grand etc etc.. they can do what they want its their fucking company..

just call from yo billing phone and youd ont have to go through that hassle.. and its alot better to use phone and cc when sending large ass sums of money because you'd have to make 3 trips etc etc..
