After all the posts I've read about the benefits of doing cardio in the AM on an empty stomach I decided to work a 30-minute session into my AM routine, and then the other 30+weights after work. So I drug myhappy ass out of bed at 4 am (I have to be at work at 6:30) and trudged over to use the elliptical at my Apartment complexes gym. I am now definitely awake.
