Ways to sterilize pins?

A friend of mine has some gear but he can't get any needles. I have some old used ones. Is there a way to completely sterilize them without ruining them?

- Obviously this isn't the best idea.. but desperate times call for desperate measures.

pinz are easy to get, and cheap, if u reuse pins or even share them u risk disease, etc

lick them with your tongue.....your saliva will kill anything on them and they'll be good to use again......

Never reuse pinz. Not even on yourself.
There is not only a disease risk but also a major bacteria risk that can and probably will lead to infection.

PLEASE Don't re-use needles or syringes even if you have maintained the "sterility"...needles are available everywhere on line vet supply houses...etc. I know a guy who died from reusing needles and yes it was for AAS not a junkie.

If I walk into a local pharmacy can I just ask for syringes (in New York City)?

What should I tell the pharmacist they are for?

Before your friend starts, he should make sure he has everything.. Worst thing to do is use a used syringe.. They are only .10 at a pharmacy. Don't think its worth the rest to get big and end up getting an infection or some disease that you are not aware that you have.
