Hi Jenny! I have walnuts with me all the time.. They're my fav nuts, Very benefical, rich in compounds that reduce hardening of the arteries and keep them flexible..
They actually add more health benefits than olive oil.. I know I was surprised too.. Great antioxidant, Omega 3 fatty acid also.. If you've had a meal high in saturated fat, have a few almonds.. keeps things flowing!
I always make my food in advance.. turkey and spinach burgers.. Cottage cheese.. pre made chicken breasts.. etc..
Protein bars are good.. Not to have on a daily basis though..
