W.U. online?

I've done WU online for other purposes with no problems. They have a limit of about $900.

The problem is you use a credit card and that makes an identity link between you and the transaction. They also call back to confirm it was you making the purchase and you have to explain the call.

The only thing I don't like about using the face-to-face Agent is the why they look at you and try to guess why you are sending this money.:)

i see you used online WU for legal purposes, but would you trust it for gear? or is the credit card an automatic no no. im just not sure how the feds would think i was worth the time to bust for a small amount of gear.

I have a large grocery store nearby with a WU agent and my bank's ATM.

I use that. I also look the Agent square in the eye with a poker face.
BTW ... Agent does ask for ID and matches it to the form.

I think the safest way is cash at store.........i have heard of problems when doing it online.

But if they are validating your ID against the form, is there any difference in using the on-line service, or credit card? It's one thing to put a bogus name on the "from" line, but another issue if they require valid ID/Drive Lic.?

Maybe ur agent does, but not all do. Hell, you don't even need id to pick up the money.
I think people get WAY too paranoid about WU agents. Most WU locations are in places like K-Mart or Rite-Aid. You're dealing with a simple customer service rep or cashier who makes $7.50 an hour. Trust me, they do not give a shit who you're sending money to, or why you're doing it.
