Vitex Gyno!!!!

Why would you want to?

From all posts I've seen so far on this subject it seems that vitex helps reduce prolactin levels induced from progesterone via decca or fina. If you're not taking either of these compounds then why are you considering taking vitex?

well the thing is is that I am taking test and deca and I have no way of distinguishing what my onset of gyno might be from estrogen or progesterone and I am afraid of taking it if say its from elevated estrogen. And I take vitex and then im fucked because now I will have elevated progesterone from it

what kind of test are you using?
you probably need nolvadex and/or arimidex. don't go with vitex just because it is $10. you'll end up with a $10 boob job.

Enigmaxxx7, would you care to back that up with some proof (ie documented reports ...even "experience"). I have seen VERY FEW people that have used Vitex as of yet but the few that have are reporting good results. It seems that the progesterone sides from the decca could come more from the elevated prolactin levels (which Vitex reduces significantly) than the progesterone itself.

Of course very few answers have come out of this and many are awaiting Fonz's response in the sticky, but making claims such as "you'll end up with a $10 boob job" is just plain stupid.

I will agree with the fact that you (PopiChulo) need to start off with both arimidex/liquidex and Nolvadex . The fact is you didn't state you were using decca in your first post, that's why I asked why you'd even want to use the vitex. If you are on no anti-e's then you need to get on the arimidex/liquidex and Nolvadex immediately. If you see no results then you may want to try Vitex. I have seen no evidence thus far that you will "grow boobs" from Vitex.

I used Vitex toward the end of a Fina only cycle and it helped. But that was because it was PR related not estrogen related. In his initial post he stated nothing of deca. I don't think he should take Vitex just because he is experiencing some gyno symptoms. If he can tell us more about his cycle, maybe we can better diagnose. The Deca can cause PR gyno, but his test can cause estrogen related.

I wasnt saying Vitex causes gyno, what I meant was if it is not PR related gyno, Vitex may just expediate his gyno.

I'll agree with that. PopiChulo, besides giving us a more detailed description of your cycle (cycle length, brands of gear, amounts, etc) I'd take what we both said to heart and start arimidex/liquidex and nolvadex. Assess the situation from there and if it still persists then take Vitex as it may be PR related.

thanks guys my cycle consists of
500mg test enanthate /week
500mg norandren 200 /week
winny at 50mg e/day but have not started it yet till 2 weeks from now, I am only on week 4 of my cycle and was planning on running it for 6 weeks like this with clomid at the end . Hope this helps.

Pop if you aren't running arimidex/liquidex and Nolvadex I'd start immediately, just as I said before. Then assess the situation and if you still feel problems go with the Vitex. I'd order the Vitex just to have it ready though, it's cheap enough.
