Vit B-12

I found about 12 bottles of B-12. They are 500mg's per tab.. I sometimes take subQ B-12, but never oral tabs, is this stuff a waste or do you think I will notice any increase in appetite or energy?? If so, what dose per day? THANKS
 
I take oral Vitamins only, including multi,VitaminB-6,VitaminB-12,Vitamin C,Vitamin E,Calcium, And I have to say I have always had great blood work, Knock on wood...
 
When I was on a test/M1T cycle I noticed a loss of appetite (common case with M1T); I started taking a vitamin B stack and noticed a healthy increase in appetite.
 
Cyanocobalamin is intrinsically bound during transit through the stomach. There are many necessary factors that determine the amount of B12 that is absorbed through the mucosal cells (such as calcium ion concentartion). A small amount of the total ingested (approximately 1%) can be absorbed through diffusion into the bloodstream, but only if taken in very high doses, one reason why B-vitamin supplements contain say 50,000% of the RDA because of the absorption problems.

Oral absorption is considered undependeable by many doctors for patients with anemia. In a normal diet, B12 is only available in a protein bound form from animal sources (not plant sources).

Cyanocobalamin is rapidly absorbed from intramuscular and subcutaneous injection sites. The compund usually reaches its peak plasma levels within 1 hour after injection. Within 48 hours, approximately 75% of the injected dose will usually appear in the urine.

100 mcg to 1500 mcg seems to be a common injection range. Several bros I have heard typically report 500 mcg or 1000 mcg per injection, say every 3 days or as needed for your specific use (race, heavy lifting night, marathon sex, etc.). You should probably experiment with dosages to see what works best for your energy levels needed. Hope that helps bros.

oral b12 is kind of a waste,
I take 3000mg/wk of B-12 from AG guys',
intramuscular ( IM absorbs better than SQ)
Also use it instead of Bacteriostatic Water for HCG, HGH, etc
 
yea it does help, but what is the reccommended dose for oral tabs? each tabs is 500mcg... I usually take a AG Guys b12 but i have so many of these oral b-12 i might as well try them... so take 3 per day and see if i notice anything?
 
Nothing wrong with the orals, if you have them, sure go ahead and take them, just keep in mind as mentioned in the previous thread, there are many factors that determine how well B12 is absorbed (when taken oral), and if all conditions are optimal, your body is able to absorb 1% of what you ingest, that's your best case scenario.

So if you took 1,500 mcg, you are really absorbing 15 mcg, and that is approximately 250% of the RDA, so you are probably in good shape with that.

I have one which is Five Thousand mg *per tab* sublingualy (sp) - under tongue. So you should be ok taking more than you do now. Is it cyanacobolamin or hydroxycyanacobolamin? The former only stays in your system a day, the latter 3-4.
