VIN numbers

Does anyone know if a car's paint code is in the VIN?

If so, what series of letters/numbers would it be?

Yes it is and the site listed as well as other out there will decipher it by Manufacturer including where the paint code is.

Other things there are country of manuf, engine, year/date of manuf bla, bla, bla
