Very short pct log - an experiment

This 2nd cycle was started with it in mind that it would go in indefinitely, ala TRT/blast and cruise. 30yrs old, 317ng/dl natural levels before my first cycle last year, so definitely a candidate for trt. Lifting on and off for last 15 years, somewhat serious last 5, very serious last 3 years. Doctor said it was borderline and he was willing to prescribe, but I said no thanks. Don't want a doctor monitoring my levels, so I decided to roll my own so to say. But 16 weeks in, I decided to come off and restart my hypothalamus and pituitary. Was running 500iu of HCG all cycle. So its been 2 weeks since last pin, and am starting nolva today.

Here's the thing, I'm only going to run nolva and only for 3 days at 60mg /day. I know this is pretty wild, against conventional thought but hear me out. I restarted after my 1st cycle (back up to my low 300's test levels) with only 5 days of nolva at 40mg. Many guys run 2-3 weeks of nolva at a tapering dosage, I think this is too long for the reason that SERMs stop satellite cell activation and proliferation. Satellite cells become either new myonuclei bundles (hyperplasia), or attach themselves to existing muscle fibers (hypertrophy). So running a SERM, from what I understand, will stop gains completely.

I'm scheduled for a blood test this coming thursday, so we shall see if I restart or not. Not that it really matters, if I restart it'll be at best 300-400ng (the levels I were at before my first cycle). In any case, I'm going back on testosterone injections friday or saturday so this is all just an experiment anyways - so don't be too harsh! :)

I'll respond to comments/questions and then post up my blood results at the end of this coming week. Should be interesting

Lab results are back, still shut down. I actually changed it to 1 day at 60mg and one day at 40mg. So the experiment was a failure.

I was going to go right back on, but I decided to do a PCT and go back on in a few months. My hematocrit was too high to keep going. I guess if anything, this shows how important bloodwork is (especially keeping red blood counts from getting too high). Makes me wonder how the pros do it, maybe they're in a blood bank every month? Stay safe guys
