Very Quick Q - Fat Loss

Hi all,

For those who don't know:

I am currently on 50mcg t3 daily, 2-3iu daily gh and 5iu humalog post workout. I just finished an aas cycle and my goal now to maintain what I gained and burn some fat. Currently around 12% looking to get to 9%

I am doing weights, then 30mins of cardio - my dilema is this.

Weights cause me to need protein, running causes me to need mainly glycogen. If when I am doing the cardio, the body taps in to my fat reserves right? So If I come back after cardio and shoot my humalog, I am feeding glycogen back in to my body and it will stop burning the fat and start tapping in to the new glyocgen stores.. That seems all logical to me? In an ideal world I would not feed my body with glycogen until 2-3 hrs after cardio but we not in a normal world and I am looking to burn fat.

So other than doing cardio and weights at different times of the day, what other solutions am I faced with?

doing cardio durign pct is a great way to eat up all your muscle...
finish pct...then start on the diet...i wouldnt race to the finsih you may end up dissapointed

Thanks for the reply HAYEZ, I definitely agree with you on the pct/cardio routine but I am also on insulin and growth hormone. I have been on it for less than 10 days now and have already increased weight around 3lbs and am noticeably leaner on my abs.
 
I wouldnt want to be doing T3 during PCT. Your already going to be in a state of catabolism. That will only add to it. And the insulin is tricky. Wouldnt do that without steroids either. Just do the gh, skip the cardio for a bit and keep your diet really clean and up the protein if you do decide to do cardio.
 
The slin will help you retain your size, but yes it will shut down your fat burning. However it's only for the length that it is present in the body, which in the case of humalog, is about 2 hours. I would keep doing what you're doing bro. I always do cardio after I train.

I agree with the above though. Drop the T3. It's too catabolic when not on AAS, unless you are medically hypothyroid. I understand it's probably cuz you're on GH, but I would at least lower it to 25 mcgs/day.

I have dropped my t3 down to 12.5mcgs, I am eating very healthy with my insulin and have done it before without any fat gains... It is all in the diet with slin and I am injecting IM to create an even quicker exit and I have used insulin enough to know how to work it best.

Actually around 10 days in to my cycle (t3,slin,gh) I have added around 3lbs and visibly dropped some bf around my stomach/abs are much more visible.

I researched all this very well before hand and have used all above before. If you look at my other thread on insulin/t3/gh you will see the replies of some very nice, responsible vets who have used the above or most of the above before.

could be bloat...gh takes a about a month or 2 for bloat to go away in most and the fat loss to start...good luck if you start losign strength adjust your cardio

Could definitetly be bloat but considering I just came off test and dbol, and after around 10days on slin and gh, I can see my abs much more than before, I don't think so. But will definitely reduce the cardio if I notice strength losses. I am sure I will because my shoulder is hurting and am very restriced to lifting heavy for chest and shoulders :(

Right now my diet couldn't be better and although the results of GH are more visible with time, due to it's half life, it does work very quickly from the moment it is injected. Some people have seen very good results in a month and some only after 3-4months.

I am responding very well to it right now :)
 
My advice would have been to reduce the T3 dose too which you have done. Also do cardio on your off days rather than training days, especially during this period of PCT.
 
burning fat is like paying interest vs. principal on your mortgage (just in in minutes not years)--at about 30-40 minutes you are burning more fat than glycogen--but it is not an on/off switch is may be 55% fat/45% sugars.
this is why the term long slow distance is used for fat burning. however, recent research has shown that for many people and esp those trying to spare muscle, HITT high intensity cardio (85%+ of target HR not 55-65%).

the idea of cardio first thing in the am b/c your glcogen stores are low works--but you also burn muscle tissue (b/c your body is really starving/in starvation mode--bad idea).

more importantly, otc fat burners like Lipoflame or Cardio Heat, can help up the net percentage of fat burned as each facilitates the metabolism of fat (w/o messing with thyroid) or bmr. they sort of give you the tools to burn fat easier---
