paxil and juice

hello bros, i am currently on eq at 400mgs a wk and 200mg test

i am going to be taking paxil at 20 mg ED,

question #1 if i can control my diet should i gain weight? im 6ft 190lbs 11%bf, and quite active w/o 6 times a week

#2does it slow your metabolism, if so wouldnt that be good for people like me who have a high metabolism normally to help put on muscle with a good diet?

#3 will it still help with the mild anxiety that i get on eq or will i only see results on eq? thnx

cool....

hows the paxil and the cycle goin what doses you running for paxil and juice?

I am on eq. cyp, and anavar cycle right now. I actually am taking xanax instead of the paxil because coming off paxil is a little depressing. I found that I did not need to take paxil every day like it was prescribed to me. After talking to my doctor who has been my family doctor for quite sometime I told him I only needed something that was fast acting and not an every day pill. He took me off the paxil and I switched to xanax's. they work out a little better for me because I only take them when I feel I need to instead of taking paxil every day. Paxil needs to build up in you body for it to work.

It's hard to say, really. I've been on PaxilCR - Controlled Release at 25mgs for about.... Well...

I stared out in Feb at 20mgs, I think it was.

My doc up'ed me to 30mgs at my next visit.

I wasn't sure i was getting as much out of it as I thought I should, so I asked him to up it again. He said going to PaxilCR at 25mgs may be better than the 30s. So, I've been on those for about 5 months now.

I've actually gotten to the point that I've been splitting those and taking 12.5Mgs ED. If you're like me, too high of doses can make you pretty lackadaisical (and watch out for traffic lights, etc.).

Now... I've only cycled once while on Paxil. It was a very short and poorly planned EQ and WinnyV oral cycle.

It's embarrassing to say, but I did:
Week 1: 100mg/wk EQ - 30 mg/ED WinnyV
Week 2: 200mg/wk EQ - 40 mg/ED WinnyV
Week 3: 200mg/wk EQ - 50 mg/ED WinnyV
Week 4: 200mg/wk EQ - 50 mg/ED WinnyV
Week 5: 200mg/wk EQ - 50 mg/ED WinnyV
Week 6: 100mg/wk EQ - 50 mg/ED WinnyV
Was also taking Clenbuterol at 100mcg/Day, 2 weeks on/off from weeks 4-8.

As low a dose on the EQ I definitely got some solid gains and lost a good bit of BF. I was actually getting compliments from every direction on the toning up - obviously better attributed to the Winny. But, the muscle mass was definitely increasing too.

This was while I was still on the 25mgs of PaxilCR. IT ended 2 months ago. I didn't experience, that I recall, any increase in EQ anxiety, either.

My next cycle i'm running:

Weeks 1-10: 400mgs EQ/Week
Weeks 1-4: 10-20 IUs Insulin/Day
Weeks 6-10: 75mgs Winstrol IM/EOD
Weeks 6-12: 2 wks on/2 wks off - 100 mcg CLEN/Day

... or something to that affect. I'll cross that bridge as I start getting my funds up and there are 2 ways to skin that cat.

appreciate your info bro, ill shoot ya some karma:)

The two most commonn side effects from SSRIs are sexual dysfunction and weight gain. The increased levels of serotonin in your brain are responsible for frequent carbohydrate cravings, so if you feel ther urge be sure to get protein as well to keep blood sugar levels stable.

As far as your metabolic rate, It is really hard to tell. There are a FEW people who actually will lose weight on this medication, but this definately seems to be the exception to the rule.

Be very careful as far as combining any SSRI with steroids, esp the more psychoactive ones. Yes EQ does cause a mild increase in anxiety for some people, the problem is when combining psychoactive drugs there is simply no protocol to refer to about how you will respond. When you start mixing these drugs with other drugs, nearly anything from severe depression to hyper mania can occur. Of course YOU may not even notice a difference, thats the name of this game. Another potential problem is the half life of these drugs. Like ZeroCool said, these drugs take some time to build up in your system, so when problems occur and you discontinue their usage, the problems will also take some time to subside.

I'm really not too fond of these drugs. Although they have the potential to help many people, they are given out way to often by unqualified general practitioners simply becuase they are not controlled substances. Even though mechanisims these drugs exert their effects through are not completey understood, they are handed out like a panacea for several unrelated mental disorders.

BTW, not to scare you or anything, but paxil is by far the most troublesome SSRI. Many people experience some very severe withdrawl symptoms consisting of depression, lethargy, and in severe instances, suicidal dellusions upon cessation of useage. How long have you been taking paxil, and if you don't mind, what exactly for. Is this for an OCD related problem?

Thanks for the Karma, bro! It may be my first Karma! :)

I was just thinking....

My mother was on Paxil. I'm sure I inherited my condition from her. She is now on some other drug. I need ask her about it again. She likes this drug much better. I believe she said she's not as lethargic and it generally works better for her. On top of this, my mom has lost several pounds over the last 6 months or so.

I feel as if I should be in better shape in terms of BF, personally, considering the time I put in at the gym. The muscle is definitely there, but I would always be much more cut with the intensity of my workouts over the past 8 months or so.

I JUST ordered another 90 PaxilCRs at 25mgs, but I may be visiting my doc during this insurance year to try this other med my mom is on. I'll keep you posted.

social anxiety, and ocd....... id like to explain my situation , about 2 years ago, i was working out with a very good build(best shapr of my life till now( i was 185lbs 7%bf 6ft ) and i must be honest with you guys but overall i am very attractive, very nice smile, face and body with a 6 pack to boot. I used to be so confident in front of girls and my friends and had no problem making new ones and i got along with my freinds.....

over the last couple years i have turned away from my freinds and girls in fright, like im not good enough and uam unconfident, and i usually have nothing to say in social situations with all my friends and have lost most friends, nobody calls me to party im so nervous thats why im going on paxil

and with my ocd i cannot stop analyzing my faults and am ALWAYS thinking about my body, its out of control

do those seem legit reasons for paxil?

thnx

OCD is seriously a bitch! I had it a bit along with some anxiety as well a few months ago. One thing I did learn was that these are definatley cyclical diseases. The "rituals" used to drive me up the God damn wall, although never to the doctors office. Make sure to try to keep it in check as much as possible...it sounds like you are. My sister had the same thing, where she was constantly thinking about her body, and it landed her in the hospital for about 4 months to recover from aneroxia. Good luck bro, and I hope all works out well for you.

I just checked with my mom. She is on BuSpar 15mgs.

One of the side affects of Paxil is that it can give you a generally weak feeling and lathargy.

One of the possible side affects of BuSpar is that it can give you a feeling of excitement. I'm not sure how this jibes with an anti-anxiety med, but for my mom it works wonderfully. And as I stated, she's lost some weight over the past several months and I could lower my BF, too. In the commercial on the BuSpar website it actually says it is "unlikely to make you groggy". That has sold me.

I'm glad this thread came up. It's helped me, hopefully, as much as it may help you.

I don't know what to tell you. Paxil definitely helped my anxiety over the last 10 months. But, I don'twant to deal with the lethargy anymore. I hope the BuSpar helps me in this regard.
