Buy the most expensive phone. That'll give you the greatest chance of getting nookie in your COED league.

i go thru phones like water...41 and my wife wont let me get a treo or blackberry, "because im an idiot and will lose it."...at least thats what im told...

considering you have no friends and get no women I would get the cheapest phone they got. You wont be using it much.

A friend of mine has the razor and he hates it, says he has to constantly change the battery. I have the SCH-a850 and it seems to get the job done.

What features to you want or need in the phone ?

Better Network Call connectivity (Antenna size) ?
Physical Size ?
Longer Battery life ?
Music BS ?
crappy Camera BS ?
Durability ?

Make your MUST HAVE list and that and the carrier will make the decision
on which phone to get. For me, it was all about durability, battery life and
network connection stability vs all the other crap features most people get excited over. Give me a flip phone that won't easily break, one that can get a signal anywhere and one that won't die after 2 hours of calls or 5 days of standby needing recharging. \
Also give me Easy to dial large buttons and easy to see screen.

I still like my Cingular 2 year old Moto V60 for these reasons.

well if you get it set up right you can set up a virtual private network between it and your computer and access all of your mp3's, video files, surf the web at near broadband speeds, I can sync my Imate to use it as a computer modem.

If you think about it, you can eliminate an ipod, pda, digital camera(captures video). I can with mine eliminate home broadband if I wanted.
Tons of stuff to do, its not just for sending and receiving emails. Its a digital life now, live long and prosper

I turn 30 next week Kak.

I mainly just want a phone that is easy to text message. My current one takes 8 steps & 3 minutes simply to send/recieve a text message. It's ridiculous.

Nobody has any love for the LG the V phone. :(

go to wirefly.com and you can get a free phone when you sign up.

You can't beat free.

You don't need a treo700w unless you are using it for major work related activities or your just a dick who thinks they need all this shit they'll never use.

wow, it says I can get the samsung i700 pocket pc for free! I may have to use this site, assuming it's legit.

Thanks!

LGs are great.

So far people have been pleased with the RAZR

the razor has nice function since it is so small. however it has a problem with dust under the screen wich becomes a real problem after about 3 months of use. I would not suggest it at this point. lucky I got one for work and can give it back when i quit :)

Treo 700

If I decide to drop the internet browser and stuff could I still text message easily on that phone?

On my current phone I have to "dial up" to get online before sending/receiving text messages. It's ridiculous.

WTF ? Do you mean Instant Messaging or just Text Messaging someone
and they get it like 5-10 seconds later ?

Text messaging to their phone the second way can be done on most any phone these days just by entering in their email or phone # in the TO field and hitting send..

Seriously, my phone is ancient. (like you)

I hit MSG, then connect, sign-in, then ok, wait 35 seconds to connect, then have to manually type the number to send to - I can't pick from my phone book, then type message, hit send, wait another 35 seconds then sign off or it charges me airtime.

There is no other way of text messaging from this phone. A buddy had the same phone and it was the same with him. He was smart enough to dump Sprint though.

Any of those free verizon phones listed with a contract would probably
be fine for you, and would also be a vast improvement.

Much like Bikinimom being banned
