well i want to do a carpet in the bedroom and living room. something relatively cheap as i only bought the place to live in for maybe 2 years. something that looks nice but doesn't cost a fortune and debating on tile for the kitchen and dining room. someone said to use linoleum or maybe these new rubber type tiles. i really though would like a mosiac design but that ould be a waste of ,money

Remnant Carpet or sisal area rugs.

Go for the rubber. It's pretty cool.
I also have this new source for rubber tiles - I'll have to look up the name. Very funky. (I'm getting it for myself too.)
