If you are cutting,then stick to the lower-carb formulations of creatine(I prefer the effervescent forms).The simple sugared carbs that are attached to most creatine formulas are far more to blame for the bloating than the creatine itself.Creatine is OSMOTIC,that is it draws fluids INTO the muscle cell,which would NOT lead to a bloated look,if anything just the opposite.It's the carbs 95% of the time that are creating the edema.
