tell me a nice classy gift i can get for my gf for under 10 bucks, this needs to be nice so that i can still hit the kitty at the end of the night
Raina said:Get her a sappy card and write a sweet little message in it. Rent a movie you know she wants to watch and snuggle with her. That would be a cheap night. It's not about the amount of money spent, it's the effort that matters.
Raina said:Another idea that takes some time but is almost free is to just write reasons you adore her out 50-100 post it notes and stick them all over her room-- tuck them into her pockets, her shoes, everywhere. She'll find them for days and feel SO special.
Raina said:If you don't want to snuggle throw a carton of her favorite ice cream into the mix on the movie night.
The Nature Boy said:how about just taking her out to dinner and getting a card, that way at least you get something to eat.
OMGWTFBBQ said:Steal a card from the drugstore that is frilly and says "HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANDMA" and then cross that out and write "HAPPY VDAY CARL" or whoever it is that you are giving it to.
That way, they know that you spent a lot of time on it.
Raina said:I detest going out to eat on valentine's day. It's way too busy. You could probably make dinner with her and that would be cheap.
Hit her from behind and keep the $10 for icecream in a small cozy cafehamstershaver said:tell me a nice classy gift i can get for my gf for under 10 bucks, this needs to be nice so that i can still hit the kitty at the end of the night

Other than that, I agree with the suggestions Raina made.

I did that for Christmas for my ex a few years ago. Sketched a portrait of the two of us. She loved it.
Time-consuming, but it is guaranteed to be adored by her.
