5 - 8 weeks per year, in a single block, for travel purposes. Been going all over Europe the last 3 years on vacation.

For over 2 years 95% of my vacation and personal time was wasted on 2 wrist surgeries and getting my wisdom teeth out. I'm still bitter. lol
That last real vacation I had was my honeymoon in December. Next February my parent are taking me, my husband, my sister, and her boyfriend to FL for a week to just relax and go fishing.

If you plan it out well in advance, it can be done very cheap. I buy my airline tickets 6 - 9 months in advance. I paid $302 round trip from Dulles to Frankfurt and back.

I take 5-6 weeks (depending on how much ios left from the previous year)... never stayed home scratching my balls so far...
so hengst, you're not one of the Dutch drivers I get to see during the whole Summer doing 80 km/h towing a big ass caravan all over the Autobahn, no? You guys are all over the place: Winter= Dutch drivers all over with your ski racks... Summer= Dutch drivers all over with your caravans and snail pace...
btw, I'm not hating, I work for a Dutch Company, so you guys feed me!!!

I live on a tropical island. Where does one to go to vacation from that?
For me vacation is time to relax and rest. Hell no I'll stress out myself with traveling and other BS.
