Using Arimidex once a week to control estrogen?

Was reading an article in "Gear User" magizine and they suggested using Arimidex once a week to control estrogen during a cycle instead of every day.

Anyone have any luck doing this?

I believe - and someone correct me if I'm wrong - that the half-life of anastrozole is 1 day and so I don't see how that would be particularly effective. How much did they suggest taking at once? Also, some people feel that cutting the pill into 4 causes one to get 3 pieces with little to no product in them and one piece with 1mg. That might be why they suggested that.
