Use of Protein Shakes When Losing Weight

...not sure if you necessarily lose weight faster....but there are benefits from the physiological mechanics of digesting whole food protein sources that you just don't get with shakes....

...in a simplistic sense, the biological structure of whole food is so complex that you get things from, say a chicken breast, that you won't get from a scoop of whey....

ahh I guess this doesn't explain it very well - but that's how I understand it....
 
Oh well, you get your Karma anyway. Everyone says how important whole food is, but I would love to hear exactly why--what are those biological benefits? What if you ate a diet of a lot of shakes, but also a lot of vegetables?
