US Mail irradiation and AS

After 9/11, there was some talk of irradiating all packages, envelopes, etc. with cobalt 'rays'.

If AS and similar substances are exposed to radiation, what is the likelihood of a change in molecular structure?

Comments, thoughts?

i did hear that when exposed to radiation yes it will change some of its contents...thats what i heard not sure how much is false/true

Instead of your gear making you big, all the gamma radiation will make you really big and green. You'll also have Roid Rage pretty bad too.

Actually from what I've heard it's only enough to kill bacteria. So it shouldn't be that big of problem.
