UPS Domestically?

Is it ok the have items sent by ups domestically or is that still a bad idea as with internationally?

Not sure about UPS, but I know it has to be safer than USPS. The USPS is spending a hefty sum in the upcoming months to crack down on the shipment of illegal substances.
