Upcoming Sci-Fi Series-"Ghost Hunters"

This should be interesting,if only for a few chuckles and entertainment. It's basically a series of documentaries(non-acted)of two Trade plumbers who conduct their plumbing by day,and investigate Haunted locations by night. They have no formal training in the field of Parapsychology,so they're basically winging it with the equipment and limited knowledge.I fully expect to see grown men running out of locations screaming,HAHA.Evidently these guys worked out a deal with Sci-Fi where they would recieve no payment for their work,as long as they could plug their plumbing business. :FRlol:

Starts this Wednesday at 9:00 PM.

what's a VCR?

lol

Those things we used to use back in the Ice age that played and recorded video tapes(rectangular devices which ran magnetic film images though a filter and projected it on to a television screen).:FRlol:

This show kicks ass IMO...The ratings would seem to coincide as well! You guys that like the paranormal, check this out,it's a cool program!New episode tonight at 9:00!

Ghost Scares Up Ratings

The Oct. 6 debut of SCI FI Channel's original alternative reality series Ghost Hunters was SCI FI's most-watched Wednesday night program since January 2003, earning a 1.4 household rating and nearly 1.7 million viewers, the network announced. The series also ranked in the top 10 of the channel's best-ever Wednesday telecasts, excluding miniseries.

Ghost Hunters trails Jason and Grant, two ordinary guys who are plumbers by day and ghost hunters by night. It airs at 9 p.m. ET/PT Wednesdays as part of SCI FI's new Wednesday block, which also features Proof Positive Evidence of the Paranormal, with host Amanda Tapping, at 8 p.m. and Scare Tactics, with new host Stephen Baldwin, at 10 p.m.

The premiere of Proof Positive Evidence of the Paranormal scored a 1.0 household rating, a 43 percent improvement over ratings in the timeslot in the third quarter of 2004. Scare Tactics, similarly, rang up a 1.0 rating, a 25 percent bump. Encores of the premiere episodes of Ghost Hunters and Proof Positive Evidence of the Paranormal will air starting at 11 p.m. on Oct. 9.

I saw one where they recorded what sounded like a little girl's voice saying "They don't want us here." Kinda gave me chills.

Yeah,it was both creepy and sad at the same time.Imagine some little lost girl not knowing what the hell has happened to her,in a continous state of confusion. That place was more than likely where she passed over, and she probably is wondering who the heck those people are who moved into her home and are telling her to leave.Very heartbreaking.

On again tonight at 9:00!This episode looks trippy,at one point one of the investigators is freaking out, saying he's "being touched".

Also a side note,this Friday,at 9:00 p.m. on CMT-"Most Shocking Ghosts"
narrated by George Noorey,co-host of Art Bell's,"Coast to Coast AM" radio program.Should be a good one.

HOLY SHIT,that episode was insane! They captured a chair being moved across the floor in the attic!Creepy stuff.

Okay, the chair moving tripped me smooth out. Did you see the look on that Coast Guard guys face when they showed him the tape? LOL

Did you see the "Shocking" show on CMT? Surprisingly good. They had some photos and video I had never seen before.

HAHA yep,the coast guard guy was expecting to see a tiny orb moving around. He looked like he turned sheet white when they showed him that.>Gulp<

Yeah, that CMT special was killer! Some of the pics and footage were submitted by a guy I know on Ghostvillage.com.

On tonight at 9:00p.m...The team goes in to investigate the legendary Eastern State Penetentiary. That place is super imposing, and haunted as hell.Should be an awesome episode.

What the hell was that running away from the camera?
It looked like it had a cape on or something.

Like it was crouched down and then took off running.

Freaky.....

SHADOW PERSON...E.S.P. is well known to have a shadow person that has scared the living shit out of staff members and Paranormal investigators. They say you can literally be standing right next to it and not notice it,as it just blends in with the shadows/darkness.Then all of the sudden it bolts past you.

I would shit a brick to run into that thing.

Well it looks like the converted church/house thing didn't work out.
Interesting place though...
I think the couple just really wanted to be told it was haunted.
Maybe next week.

It may actually be haunted, the spirits just may have just been playing coy with all the team there.Unfortunately,it's quite difficult to get ghosts to show themselves on demand.Investigators often times have to go to a reportedly haunted place a half dozen times before they finally get that 'hit'.Kind of like fishing.Sometimes you get skunked, sometimes you catch your limit, haha.

Next week's episode definitely looks like they hit activity. One of the camera guy's is floored by a ghost passing through him.

RE: Armory episode

Wow, that sound guy got popped pretty good!

Once they slowed down the footage, it does look like that bag comes up by itself and uppercuts his ass.

The infared image of his face did look like someone had just smack him.

That was a good episode.....

Yeah,I think they actually pissed the entity off by following it around and sort of cornering it.But the poor sound guy was sort of an innocent bystander. You could see he was much more emotionally traumatized than he was physically,as he just burst into tears at the one point. It imprinted its emotional state upon him as it went through him.Very traumatic.

For sure. On the TAPS board, someone was saying that he quit not too long after this was filmed. He worked for the Sci-Fi Channel.

Hopefully Sci-Fi made him sign a waiver, otherwise that could get messy.Although,it would be humorous seeing him try to prove it in court-"Your honor,I'm suing for emotional and physical damages inflicted upon me by a spector while working for sci-fi."LOL

Guys, I have the trippiest wav file EVER.

Its Real Player. An investigation of an old school. This woman/ghost walks right in front of the investigators. Amazing video.

I don't know how to host it. I could email it.

Tripped me smooth out......
