Just got back from my Dr. He perscribed Lamisil for a toenail infection, and told me that we would have to monitor my liver, AND that I would have to take the shit for SIX MONTHS!!!

This fucks me up quite a bit, as I was scheduled for a winter cycle beginning in January. Taking this shit for six months means I won't be done with it until April.

So, here's the problem:

My scheduled cycle was
Week 1-10 Sust250 @500mg/week
Week 1-10 EQ @400mg/week
Week 1-4 Dbol @30mg/day
Week 7-14 Winny @50mg/day

Should just run the Sust and EQ without the orals during my scheduled time frame, or should I just hold off on th whole cycle until this shit is out of my system and my liver is clear?

I put a lot of planning into this winter cycle, and I really don't want to have to flush it.

That sucks bro. I guess the lamisil is hepotoxic, but to what degree? Are your concerns that the elevated liver values will alert your physician to you ruse or that the added strain of the antibiotic will be too hard on your system? Such as nice cycle to lose for a damn toe infection. You could try expressing concerns over a 6 month treatment plan that could be hard on your liver and see if there is an alternate course of treatment. Otherwise, that just sucks.

Well, I guess you could say the whole thing sorted itself out. I got to the pharmacy, and they wanted to charge me $300 for the Lamisil. Fuck it, I guess I'll just have to have an ugly toe...

you should have quit biting your toenail when it got to the skin, lol. so let it be a lesson learned. ingrown toe nail suck ass dude i know how annoying they could be, i used to get them all the time. good luck bro

I've posted about this before - Lamisil is used by many many people (toenail fungus is very common) and what most aren't aware of is the hepatoxicity. When coupled with 17-aa roids can really stress out your liver.

There are other things you can use for nail fungus, you need to file down the nail as much as possible and apply a topical alcohol based lacquer... I can't think what it's called right now but your doc should be able to advise. It's very difficult to totally eradicate the fungus and you will have to persevere for many months but it's better than putting extra strain on your liver.

I play soccer and have damaged nails from where other players are always stamping (with studs) on my feet. As a result my nails have cracked, which opened them up to the fungus. I've got it under control now, but it took about a year and I still apply the lacquer now.

You can also try tea Tree oil, but it did nothing for me except allow people to smell me coming (it has a strong odour).
