I dont know I just remember someone posted a video with hella people dressed up as those charachters, they were out in the woods pretending to be dungeons and dragons or something. I figured you need to get on the squad to play that game.

Ogre battle was neat, not as good as final fantasy tactics though.
 
RPGs kickass and so does D&D (i only play PC or videogames of it, never the boardgame, god that would be lame.)

people hate on them because it is nerdy. i swear even as adults everyone still wants to be the quaterback or head cheerleader. it's time to realize that the nerds got one right and lets all start playing.
I'll be a lvl. 1 fighter. my fav char. i like to confront stuff head on.

I've been a nerd my whole life, not too bad though. This nerd was bigger then the high school football captain in middle school ;)
I love the chance to adventure, to be somebody else...
Lets face it - the world we live in has been leveled by science. There is no mystery, no new lands to see, legends are fucking dead...it's an escape. Like an interactive movie...

BG1, 2 or both ?
He's hardcore in 1....Fucked my shit up a few times. The +3 & +5 scimi's are hot!
2 - his party sucked balls and I beat them in the first encounter.
I didn't save thow. I needed him in the grave yard.

both games. (some gay mofo steals the items back in the graveyard no matter what though). when i play i will choose a party in BG1 beat it, use same party through tales of sword coast, BG2, and throne of bhaal.
i have done that twice with two different parties, done it once with one character (solo). i have also beaten the individuals games a handful of times to try the new char. classes.

I've used a made party through TOSC to TOB.

....Fighter.....Cleric
....Ranger.....Thief
....Mage.......AUX (quest char)

Theif for traps and the ranger is long ranged back up. Both stealth RECON
Set a pick with a theif with boots of speed, set trap : fireball or other area spell,
fighter cleric dual line mash , ranger and theif pulls backs - arrows vs spellcasters. mage uses individual attacks i.e. magic missle

I haven't found a better system
I hate bards, although Elmister is a Haper bard...
I'll dual class the ranger cuz his Druid spells blow, minus elementals.
I never use specialty house mages, save: Conjuring (ala Ulcaster).
