i was reading strongchick's thread and i noticed you have trouble getting into college

the university of houston (among other colleges) has a 100% acceptance rate (i do believe).

UH was actually one of the few schools I didn't apply too.

I applied to Southwest Texas, Stephen F. Austin, Angelo State University, Texas A&M, East Carolina, and a few smaller even more obscure schools

Angelo State was the only university that accepted me right away. For some Reason Graduating in the 3rd Quarter from a National Exemp School wasn't as good as going to any of the 2 smaller highschools in my district which my GPA would have put me high 2nd Quarter at either one...

I guess 5 GPA scales makes it difficult to graduate high from my highschool...I just finished my 3rd year of college and decided I know less about what I want to do with my life then before so I'm leaving college for a bit to explore other options
