Two on Two off with T3

I've only recently heard about the two days on, two days off approach to taking T3. I've been wondering a few things since I heard about it.

1) Is this a viable means of avoiding suppression of natural thyroid function?

2) Is this a means of also running t3 for extended periods of time without risking permanent damage to thyroid function?

3) If the answer to 1 or 2 is 'yes', is the effect(or lack thereof) dose dependant?
 
Never heard of 2 on/2 off with T3, only Clen..... It doesn't seem to make much sense to do that with T3..... If you keep your dose low, you can do T3 for an extended time.... I do it every summer, never had a problem here.....

if you want to keep your thyroid functioning while doing t3, then you don't need to do more than 12.5mcg. otherwise i would do the t3 ramping up and then back down... plus it's very hard to shut down one's thyroid. actually never heard of it happening, but doesn't mean you couldn't if you abused it...

thats interesting info,thanks for posting tiger! I've heard that T3 eats your muslce up like a mutha fu*a! anyone have any input who has used it and noticed a drastic loss in muscle mass?

your welcome. i've used t3 up to 100mcg for about 2 months, ramping up and down of course, and didn't notice any muscle loss while dieting. as long as you run some test along with t3 you won't burn up much muscle. just keep your protien intake fairly high. i usually up my test intake also while dieting anyway and have been able to tell that i hang on to much more muscle...
 
Never tried T3, I've heard it gives users a "flat" appearance... whatever that means it doesn't sound good.

Prizz, you run about 12.5mcg all summer? I just bought 60 50mcg tabs and was thinking of a low dose throughout summer to help with cutting.

Could you explain why exactly it doesnt make sense? I mean, it sounded like an ok idea because I figured t3 starts working right away so you do the two days at whatever dose and since there's no suppression(unless there in fact is) you don't have fit in a ramp down, but I don't know much about the subject so I wouldn't be shocked if I'm way off on this.

I've never seen anyone try 2 days on, 2 days off, doesn't make much sense.

just from personal experience, i don't start seeing results till about week 3 and that's using it everyday. maybe i'm wrong, but i think 2 on 2 off with t3 is a waste. jmo

You only produce approx 4mcg of T3 per day. So 12.5mcg will certainly shut yours off.

that's correct sir. when taken orally you don't get but a small portion that is actually effecting your thyroid, the rest is turned to crap. literally

You can safely use 25mcg/day for several months.

absolutely... 2-3months is common even though it's recommended for 6 weeks or less. i've never had a problem afterwards nor have anyone that i know on the net or personally. the people i'm talking about all had blood work done also.

can you PROVE otherwise?? just because it's not the "norm" doesn't mean there's not other research out there that proves otherwise.
