ANKARA (Reuters) - A Turkish Airlines domestic flight from Istanbul to Ankara was hijacked on Friday, the airline told Reuters.
Officials said the flight, taking off at 3 p.m. EST, had been redirected and was about to leave Turkish airspace, flying westward over the Aegean sea toward Greece.
The official said nothing was known about the hijacker or hijackers.
I would guess it may have something to do with the Turkey/Greece conflict!
