Hey, I have an idea! Let's have a forum for domestic source posting.
As mods, we can create phoney sources and back them. Then after people are scammed, we can call out the scammers.
Oh and when the feds start taking down the moronic sources that are legit there, it'll just drive more business toward our scammers!

i don't mean to make a blanket statement about everybody over there. there are a very select few that i respect over at tridia. most of whom have defected and have asked their names not be assoc with them anymore.
like all boards, you have some good ones and some bad ones. they just had more of that latter. . . .
what did me in was when one of the mod's over there scammed me and then played stupid.
the scam has almost been resolved by a third party. and when that happens, i'm going to do what i need to do about the shit head scammer. . . .

There is no question that Trieda is having problems right now, for a number of reasons. Allowing open sourcing is inevitably going to create trouble and draw the wrong kind of attention to the board. It also attracts a lot of members that I and the other mods would just as soon not be there. In fact, the administrators have been banning many people who blatantly violate the posted rules of the board.
Personally, I seldom even vist the classified section as I hardly have enough time to try to anwer people's questions in the anabolic forum. I will certainly admit that the classifieds are a mess, and that is another reason I seldom go there. Most of the posts are idiotic and a total waste of time to read.
There is also considerable conflict at this point between the board owner and the administrators. The mods are caught in the middle.
I became a mod there because I was asked to. I did not solicit the position. I probably spend as much time researching answers to people's questions as I do at my own job. Between those two responsibilities and lifting, this leaves little time for my family.
It's worth it for me though because I learn so much from other members and from researching answers to difficult questions. That's why I visit Elite as well.
Elite is a great board, and I still believe the anabolic forum at Triedia is excellent. I can promise any reader that I will do anything I can to try to answer their questions in a no BS manner, and if I can't I will admit it. We will get our problems straightened out, and I encourage anyone with a question about any aspect of anabolic pharmacology to give us a shot. I'll do all I can to help. Thanks for your time.

as far as triedia, check out their chat board. it is a circus. some guy was posting a long thread about how he wanted to make love with a birdfeeder last time i checked, and they also have two racists- aryan soldat, and the nazi rommel. i do not like that board, may1010 is a good mod though i guess.

What blew my mind was when "internet" sherlock holmes traced IP addresses of government agencies and then posted the LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER's name, address, and phone number.
Then the genius prank called the number just to verify and then bragged about it in the same thread!

Days later, sources start getting busted. Hmm, what a coincidence.

I promise it happened. The guy who did it's handle was glnd1 and another guy traced some addresses as well. Go over there and ask (discreetly) a mod you are familiar with or a trusted member. Once I pointed out WTF he had done, Hogg deleted it at his request. Hell, I wish I had saved it or printed it out so I had some proof.

While I respect the views of others, I maintain that Code is correct.
If I were in the DEA (and I'm not), I'd just pull together a rather good team, justified in the budget, half of them IT Hackers with Top Secret clearances (NSA and FBI work), the other half as coordinators or operatives. Probably working out of Alexandria or Arlington, VA.
And I would not use a static IP address connected to any government agency. It would be just cheap old dial-up, or maybe dedicated, but in the name of the widow Mrs. Marjorie North.
