I am on cycle right now and I am going home over winter break. Can I bring my gear and needles on the plane in checked luggage. I f anyone has experience with this please let me know
travelling while on cycle?

I think in checked luggage it would be fine. Definitely put the syringes/needles there (if you HAVE to bring pins) as the needles would NOT be good in a carry on. Of course if you could just buy some syringes wherever you are going, that would be best.
if you mail it home it'll be just your luck that your parents'll check the mail before you do, get a little too curious about the package you mailed yourself, and then decide to see what's inside. But if that happens you can just tell em you've been a closet diabetic all your life and were ashamed to tell them for fear of dad's violent temper and mother telling all her friends.
