I know this is a stupid question but bear with me. If I remove my shit from its vial, and placed it into another (sterile) container with a twist top, would it get contaminated (even if just for a short period of time), and if so are their step to take to sterilize it?

Call me crazy but I filter all my vet gear and put it into a screw top sterile vial without a problem.....

It works just fine...I leave it in the screw top....transfering it back would negate the filtering.....
