He does seem like quite an idiot, but he's fun to watch. He's an embarrassment to the legislative branch, that's for sure.

C'mon now! This guy is the best entertainment around today.

Consider everything we've been able to see:

As police chief of Youngstown, Ohio (one of the highest murder rates in the country) - he was tried for having mob ties. The trial lasted for a couple of years. AND HE BEAT IT.

What next? Why not run for Congress. Which he did. AND HE WON. Then he goes off ranting and raving against anything and anyone, while "championing" the steel valley(ies).

More you ask? Sure - take a look at that hair piece. This guy has been providing political entertainment/satire/jokes for over 3 decades. And you want hit to go away for a long time?


Consider this - the current chief of Youngstown had a case (I believe two years ago) where a witness against some very high profile crime figures was asking for police protection. The chief denied protection. What happened? The witness "fell" off a 3 story building and died. When asked for comment - the chief answered that they were too busy to protect a witness.

Youngstown breeds people like this - and it is our civic duty to watch and laugh.

UNISEX RESTROOMS, WHAT IS NEXT?

Mr. Speaker, last week a girl was crowned prom king in Washington. This week we learn a whole new classification term for men and women: Transgenders. That is right, transgenders. Ohio University has designated 30 restrooms as transgender-type restrooms, able to be used by both men and women at the same time.

They are officially called unisex restrooms. Unbelievable. What is next? Unisex locker rooms with thong/jock support dispensers? How about Maxipad vending machines in locker rooms? Beam me up.

I yield back this higher education business as yet simply getting high.

man that fucker hasn't done jack fucking shit for youngstown or for his district.. go out and get his voting record.. do some more searchs and you'll see that he's just always been good at pulling the sheets of the eyes of his constituents, which isn't a hard thing to do considering that they're all uneducated, factory worker, union morons that have no other aspiration in life other than to work in a factory... or as it is now.. be on unemployment

He was supposed to open the meeting this morning - but didn't show. His words from last nite were he'll be loud and make a spectacle of himself.

Should be good for a few laughs.

Be careful of how you so easily put voters down. Considering the work put in, collectively, by the Ohio and Pennsylvania steel vallies - you would do well to show some of those people some of the very same respect you go around on this board screaming for.

I wonder if you would make the same comments in Detroit regarding auto assembly workers? Considering that with overtime and such - some of them are making $100K. But afterall, as you said, "factory worker, union morons that have no other aspiration in life other than to work in a factory".

Judge not so harshly your fellow Americans who have proof of their labors.
 
mekannik... the communities that surround me are filled with nothing but factory workers.. delphi, craftmade, lordstown, copperweld, blah blah blah.. a number of my family and friends currently work in or have worked in the mills or factories or plants or whatever.. and the same is true for every one of them.. they're lazy and they get paid to fucking much.. and it's all because of the union.. moreover.. it's the fucking union's fault that no corporations will put up any more plants here and that all of them are phasing our their plants here.. these people with no education and no brain sit in there and pull a fucking lever for $21-30/hr.. on top of that... they only work 4 out of 8 hours because that's all it takes them to finish up there bullshit quota that the union negotiated for them..

don't try fucking lecturing me about the union or the steel workers or factory workers or plant workers fucker.. i know it better than any one of you..

and i know that they're lazy.. that they get paid too much.. that the entrance process into such jobs is bullshit.. that the majority of people in those jobs are uneducated fools that vote for fucking idiots like traficant who's the biggest asshole in this hemisphere..

proof of their labors my fucking ass..

i tell you what i have proof of.. and that's the large corporations taking all their business and manufacturing side of things west where they can get non-union workers that actually put in work for a living..





everybody here who strives to be a union factory worker for the rest of their life please raise their hand...

I was listening to his interview on CNN this morning; he called the reporter a "news vixen" (she was cracking up) and I think he was asked about the effects fo the trial when he replied along the lines of "you can see by my baggy pants and my string tie, I don't change too much".

It's always funny when it's someone ELSE's rep :rolleyes:
