Tracking overseas packages

Can someone explain how tracking packages is done?

Of all the senders I've dealt with, not one of them has ever offered to give me a tracking number so I can see where my package is.

One that I did ask, gave me some answer about the shipping service used that will allow tracking is too risky for seizures.

Do you all commonly get tracking numbers?

As soon your package arrives in States it will show up on the above link. THIS ONLY APPLIES WHEN USING EXPRESS MAIL SERVICES (EMS)

Packages mailed via dhl / fedex / UPS all have their own web site and tracking procedures.
