Been doing towell pull ups for some time now. It has been real good to me as far as grip is concerned. Although, the hands tend to not want to open after you finish a set. My back feels stronger when I do them as opposed to the traditional bar pull ups.
Take two towells (dish size) and throw them over the traditional pull up bar. Each should be in the spot directly over head, where you would take your normal grip. Get a good grip of each towel as they hang. Go. Just an idea for anyone needing something different. If you do them, drop an experience here on the board. Later.
