10 bucks is cheap dude. Right downtown it's 15 minimum for all day.

Find a side street with permit or meter parking and look for someone already with a ticket. Take theirs and put it on your windshield and park for free all day. Of course then when they get another one you feel shame. Either that or keep an old ticket around and just put it on whenever you park. I've never gotten a re-ticket doing that.

Or you could find legal street parking a few blocks away and walk. That's what I do.

Yeah if there is a game on it's up to 20 or 25 bucks to park. Frigging ridiculous. Hmm...subway...2.50...parking...20 bucks. I'd love to own one of those lots and pay some guy $4 an hour to sit there while I rake in thousands a day.

I left my car in one of those downtown lots overnight one time because I had been drinking. When I came back at 10:30 the next morning to get it the guy tried to charge me for another day ($10) because I'd left it there and technically "parked" for the two hours that morning. I drove over the parking barriers and took off. Screw them.

I do know of one other place that has some of the cheapest parking downtown hands down, BUT I have never parked there for an entire day (only for a few hours).

It is right at Kensington market. For a few hours of parking you will only pay a few bucks. Not sure how it is for the entire day though, but it may be cheaper.

Other then that why don't you take the GO Train??

im taking the GO Train now, 6.50 fare for there and back total or something.. 1/2hr faster, station is 10min walk from my office.... fuck the $200 i would be spending a month for gas and parking!

Bingo. GO Train is the only way to go if you live just outside of Toronto.
