As some may remember, I asked a while back... if anyone thought I could fail a pee or hair sample drug test after my neighbors smoked down and I caught a body buzz/contact high as it made its way through the heater/vent system. I had the visuals, buzz, and all. So, I took a hair test sample today for a BIG job that I NEED to get. Did I pass??? Chime in, if you would... ;)
 
Oh yeah! LOL! Good Ole US, eh? So, you say I failed-- SHITEEEE!!! I need this!!
 
It takes a long time for anything to enter hair.
If you only had it once, and it was a short period ago, it wouldn't show in hair test.
Urine test may become positive.

That is nothing new. I get pre-employment, random , post accident and just because I feel like it tests. I have taken 7 in one month before.
Hair tests are tough. Chances are if you were buzzed/high off of it you failed.
Which lab did they send it to. Psychemedics? Their tests are hard to beat.

Personally, I think it is BS. Pre-employment and post accident are understandable considering the shit ass insurance companies that run this country.

I got busted about 2 years ago on a Post accident. I was at home when it happened came back out the next day and had to take a test.
Well, It just so happens I was in Aspen enjoying some kind on my days off the week before.
Lost my job over it.
I was 20 miles from the location.
I was not under the influence of it anymore at all.
The guy who crowned out had 3 OSHA lost-time accidents, his fault in the last 1.5 years and was known to be reckless.
He got bumped for a week to a lower position.

Drug testing works.....

MY ASS.

if you worked for me, you would definately fail a drug test!

and wtf, they take hair samples??? is this even legal?
 
USA=Geigh, but I have to love my big gay country :rainbow: yeah, we hair test,but no test test- phewww- LOL :evil:
 
no one would pass a hair drug test here. even if you don't smoke yourself, it's hard to avoid. e.g. people smoke in bars and clubs, on the streets, metro stops, every where.

Reminds me of last time I went to Milan on business. Was not carrying any weed on me but the drug dog locked into step beside me, all happy acting, tail wagging, tounge lolling, friendly like. I knew what was coming next...... !! Got pulled to the side, searched, etc. the Italian Border Police spoke no English (the nerve!). I knew I was clean so laughed and smiled my way through. Indeed, admitted to being a smoker but where I came from it was allowed.
 
Those tests are extremely sensititve as they do the gaschromotography spectroscopy I believe and get a reading of the specific molecules present. But I had a friend that owned a drug testing lab a long time ago and he said that even the presence of a substance does not mean that you failed the test. It had to be above a certain limit for it to be considered a failure.
His example to describe why that is, is the same scenario you described. B/c you dont want to fail people who have been in the same room as the drug.
Im sure youll be fine, I was just joking with my previous post.
And you werent even in the same room, virtually impossible that they give you a failing test for that.
 
If you didnt actually take any hits, it wont come out in a urinalysis.
Not sure about a hair test but I would guess you passed.

I'm thinking placebo effect.

Your saying the chronic smoke went throught the heater system and you got high off it and saw VISUALS?


I've never seen a visual in my life off weed and I've smoked many different kinds/quality (including some sent over from amsterdam).

That must have been the dankest weed in the universe and let me get some.




And I bet you passed.
 
sorry, by visuals.. I mean the floor carpet looked more texturd and uneven and distance was all off, my head and neck were tingling, and was a little off balance....
 
It'll take about three days before I hear back- I'll post when I know.
 
Relax...the amount of THC that got into your system had to be miniscule.

There has to be a certain threshold they test for and I'm willing to bet your waay below it.
