Today's big, bloated guts: why and how to avoid them?

Altough abs are each year more defined, slim waists have dissapeared from bodybuilding, either from amateur or pro ranks.

Under 30 inch waists, common in the 70s, are rare today, why?

Is this problem drug-related?
Is this also seen in natural bodybuilders?
The most important, how to avoid huge waist?

GH

Generally larger body growth ( If you are 5'9" and 300 pounds, I dont care how much muscle you have, your waist is not going to be under 30 inches.)

More juice... Abs and obliques grow too..

Tremendous amount of food eaten.

Whens the last time you heard of a current pro practicing vacuum poses? Never. They dont do it. Arnold and zane practiced for hours and hours.

and today people are doing heavy resistance training for abs and obliques, making the muscles gorw much larger instead of more defined. pro bodybuilding has been gowing for maximum size, no matter how it looks, for a while now. thats why ronnie wins.

Thanks, bro

Very, very, interesting post.

But, the effect also appears in amateurs that dont use GH or insulin.

They do use GH and slin. I know becaue I compete. At my last comp my waist was 28". The pics are on here somewhere. I don't use GH, but I did use slin for carb ups only and my waist is still tiny. It's not from food or the way one trains their abs.
